Bristol Palin In Heated Custody Battle Over Son Tripp

 

Bristol Palin is in a custody battle against Levi Johnston over their son, Tripp, according to Us Magazine.

 

Palin petitioned for sole custody of their son in November, documents made public revealed. The documents were made public after a judge at the Superior Court ruled for the proceedings to be kept opened.

 

Johnston, who is seeking shared custody of Tripp, has been pushing for a public hearing in order to help everyone “stay civil and be on their best behavior.” Palin, Sarah Palin’s daughter, told officers she preferred a closed hearing to protect her son from the public.

 

Recently Johnston posed nude in a Playgirl photo shoot and his mother, Sherry, was arrested for drug use earlier in the year. In response to the arrest Palin requested the grandmother, Sherry, not be permitted unsupervised visits with her son.

 

Palin and Johnston got engaged after she became pregnant, and broke off their engagement after Tripp, now 1 year old, was born.
