Bristol Palin Will Guest Star on 'Secret Life'

Bristol Palin, the TV star? Sarah Palin’s infamous daughter, Bristol, who's best known for getting knocked up by now ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston, is making her acting debut.

The teenager will guest star on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, People reports. Palin, 19, will play herself.

Palin released a statement, People reports, saying:

“I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy.”

According to People, Palin becomes friends with the character, Amy, at a musical program geared to teen moms. The mag also reports the episode is scheduled for a Los Angeles shot and will air during the summer.

The show’s executive producer, Brenda Hampton, People reports, says, “Bristol Palin is the most famous teenage mother in America. I think she will bring additional attention to the issues facing teen parents that we’ve been exploring for a couple of seasons now.”
