Bristol Palin is ditching Tinseltown and heading back home.
USA Today reported Sarah Palin’s daughter told In Touch Weekly that she’s been thinking about leaving for months now.
The 21-year-old said she first thought about it after her little scuffle at the Saddle Ranch bar last September when a man verbally attacked her mother for her political views, to which Bristol responded with homophobic comments.
"I wasn't really into the Hollywood thing," she said. "After that, I just realized that I was over it. I was ready to come home."
According to Yahoo, Bristol also said that she wanted her son, 3-year-old Tripp, to grow up in Wasilla, her hometown.
"When we're here, Tripp is outside all the time ... his cheeks are always bright red!" she said.
Palin has definitely had her fair share of Hollywood. Not only did she place third on her season of Dancing with the Stars, she was also filming a reality show last fall with fellow contestant Kyle Massey, before it got cancelled.
Now she’s working as a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office in Anchorage, and that’s the way Sarah likes it.
"She makes good decisions, and she's always thinking long-term about her and Tripp's future,” the former governor said about her daughter.
But just because she left Hollywood, doesn’t mean her life’s drama free. Bristol also talked about how Tripp’s father, Levi Johnston, is not being a good dad at all.
"He's not using his visitation, and he's not paying his child support,” she said.
Let's hope no one picks up a reality show called Bristol Palin's Alaska.
