Britney Is Free of Adnan Ghalib
Britney Spears had her restraining order against ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib extended until 2012, according to OK! Magazine. Celebrity Web site TMZ is reporting that Spears was given a permanent restraining order when Ghalib failed to appear in court Wednesday.
There is another court date, set for April 1, to determine if her temporary restraining order against Sam Lutfi should be made permanent. Lutfi was accused, in an earlier hearing, of harassing Spears to the point where she feared Lutfi.
According to her testimony, which was covered in OK! Magazine, Spears's hairstylist, Roberta Romero, got text messages from Lutfi saying, "Her family put her into the hospital just to set up the conservatorship. I've done everything I can to free her. . . . I'm very close to getting her free now."
Other testimony from Spears's head of security, Itamar Gelbman, stated, "She was scared. . . . She can't fall asleep." Gelbman went on to claim that Spears asked him to add to the number of security patrols being done around the house.
