Britney Spears and Ryan Seacrest to Host the 2011 Wango Tango Festival

KIIS-FM’s annual Wango Tango festival is May 14 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This year it features one very special guest.

MTV News reports that Britney Spears, currently gearing up for her album release, will co-host the event with Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest himself announced the news on his radio show Monday morning.

The festival, which features the hottest acts in music will feature performances by Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Pitbull, Far East Movement, Jason DeRulo, Lupe Fiasco, T-Pain, New Boys and Cobra Starship. YouTube sensation Cody Simpson will also perform.

This isn’t the first time Spears has hit the stage at Wango Tango. In 1999, at the beginning of her career, she performed at the festival. In 2001, she returned to guest host.

Tickets for the festival go on sale for VIP’s April 1, and April 2 for the general public.
