Britney Spears Appears In Court
According to MTV, Britney Spears showed up at her court hearing Monday afternoon to try to regain visitation rights with her two sons. The court expected an explanation about the events that took place Jan. 3 which ended when the singer was taken away in an ambulance. For reasons unknown, Spears reportedly left the hearing only minutes after it began.
Ex-husband Kevin Federline was present at the court session Monday morning. He has temporarily gained sole custody of the children since the incident two weeks ago.
Spears' three lawyers from the firm Trope & Trope represented her in court even though they currently have a pending motion to be removed as her legal counsel.
If Spears is granted visitation rights, it would probably be restricted to monitored visitations in a place outside of her home. Journalists and other members of the media were not allowed to attend Monday's proceedings because of the judge's direct orders.
