Britney Spears To Design Clothing Line For Candie's

Britney Spears is testing out her designer skills, as she has begun designing her own line of clothing for Candie's. While the line is only going to be limited edition, it is set to hit Kohl's stores and Kohls.com starting on July 1.

While designing the line, Spears not only met with Candie's designers, but she also helped them sketch some of the looks. As she told InStyle.com, "My personal style is a mix of comfortable and flirty. I love cute little dresses, but I also love comfy sweaters and jeans.

As Spears goes on, she talks about what people can expect from the line. "I used a lot of studs and lace because I wanted to make the clothes cool and edgy yet girly." Spears also says that she wanted to create things that would be considered wardrobe staples. "I also love jeans, so I had to make sure there were some great pairs in the collection."

Spears is set to appear in various ad campaigns to promote the line online, on TV and in print. The collection, which includes handbags and jewelry, is priced from $14 to $78.
