Britney Spears' Ex Jailed
A former love interest of Britney Spears has been sent to jail.
A Los Angeles court sentenced Adnan Ghalib on Friday to spend 45 days in jail for leaving the scene of an accident, reports MSNBC.
Ghalib's debacle began when he ran over a man attempting to serve him a restraining order in February. Ram Maskowitz was delivering the order that Spears' father had requested against Ghalib.
The paparazzo is best known for dating Spears' during her less stable times.
Ghalib was originally accused of felony assault with a deadly weapon, to which he pleaded not guilty, according to Canoe. Later, the charges were minimized to leaving the scene in exchange for a no contest plea from Ghalib.
In addition to his cell-time, Ghalib will also serve three years of probation and perform 45 days of roadside clean-up duty.
Maskowitz has sued Ghalib based on physical damages he suffered during the altercation. That case is still pending.
