Britney Spears loves 'Modern Family,' will she guest star?

Britney Spears let her Twitter followers know what her favorite television show is, and soon enough her fans tried to get a trending topic to get her a guest spot on the show, which made rumors swirl.

"I know everybody is excited about the Super Bowl, but I personally can't wait to see the next episode of Modern Family! Funniest show on TV," Spears tweeted.

Soon after the tweet, Spears fans were trending #GetBritneyOnModernFamily.

"I've never watched it, but I would if Britney would do a guest appearance!!!" wrote one Spears fan. 

"YES!!! She was amazing on #HIMYM and #willandgrace," added another fan.

Spears was happy to hear her fans wanted her on her favorite show.

"Ahhhh I would love to be on it!" she wrote in response to all the fans' demand.

Spears has many sitcom guest appearances under her belt. The 30-year-old previously appeared on Will and Grace, and appeared on two episodes of How I Met Your Mother in 2008.

As for a guest spot on the ABC hit, there is no current deal to feature Spears on an upcoming episode. According to Ryan Seacrest, having Spears on a future episode of Modern Family
