Britney Spears is Still on Top

Lady Gaga may be the hottest pop star at the moment, but Britney Spears is still selling records while her last studio album was released two years ago. The Recording Industry Association of America has announced that Spears has sold over 100 million records since her debut in 1999-with six studio albums. She now joins the ranks of Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey, all of which has hit the 100 million+ mark. This makes spears the highest selling musician of the 2000's.

Britney is currently in the studio working on her next album, she has been seen leaving the same studio that she recorded Circus in and she is currently working with producer Alex Da Kid, who has produced such songs as Nicki Minaj’s “Massive Attack” and Eminem’s collaboration with Rihanna “Love the Way You Lie.”

Spears is also releasing her newest scent “Radiance” in September, it is reported to smell like, "Wild berries and soft, dewy petals.”
