Britney Spears is Thankful for Recent Success

With both her singles on the top 10 this week, Spears releases a thank-you video

Britney Spears is topping the charts and breaking her own personal records this week, reported Reuters. Her new single "Circus," off her CD of the same name, has hit the charts at No. 3, becoming Spear's first, but hopefully not last, top 10 debut.

"Womanizer," the first single from "Circus," is still on the charts, but has slipped down one spot from last week to No. 10; making this week also the first time Spears has had two tracks in the top 10 at the same time.

Spears seems very grateful for her recent success. In a new video on MTV, Spears thanks her family, friends, and fans for their support, saying; "I want to wish everybody out there a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. And I want to thank all of my fans for making my album "Circus" number one."
