Britney Spears Wins Best International Pop Star Award
At 26, Spears is once again the comeback kid.
In Germany, Britney Spears was named best international pop star this week at the Bambi Awards. She received the award after performing her single on the program, her first live performance since 2007. Her new album, Circus, drops next week.
Spears has been through serious turmoil in the last year, losing custody of her children, being hospitalized and placed as a legal ward of her father.
Spears's outfit seemed to take a page out of the Madonna book of style, and it seems that the former Mouseketeer has reinvented herself again. After all she has been through, when fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld presented her the award, he told her she has returned "not only as a phoenix but as a bird of paradise."
