Britney's Ex Gets In Trouble With The Law

Britney's ex gets himself in trouble after attempting to avoid a restraining order.

According to People.com, the paparazzi ex-boyfriend of Britney Spears is facing charges for attempting to avoid a process server.

Adnan Ghalib was being served with a restraining order, courtesy of Spears's father, by a Los Angeles prosecutor on Feb. 11 when he tried to run over the victim with his Mercedes.

To escape being hit and pinned against a trash can, the victim jumped out of the way and onto the hood of the car, where he eventually fell off and broke his wrist. Ghalib then drove away without stopping to help the victim.

For this, Ghalib was hit with three felony charges of assault on Tuesday. They are assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run, and battery. The charges are worth up to seven years of jail time if Ghalib is convicted.

Ghalib has avoided arrest thus far and prosecutors are asking that bail be set at $110,000.
