Brittany Murphy In Many Roles Just Before Death

Much like Michael Jackson, Brittany Murphy was leading a busy life in her career at the time of her death. She had just finished working on two independent thrillers and was gearing up to star in a romantic comedy next month. The mystery thriller, Something Wicked, is about a young couple seeking counseling to deal with the dark events leading up to their wedding, and Murphy played as their psychiatrist. In a chilling kind of foreshadowing, at one point in the film, Murphy's character expresses how she might never be able to live out her dream of having a family and kids. It's rumored that Brittany Murphy and her husband were going to start trying for just that next year. Immediately after, Murphy stared in Abandoned as a woman searching for her husband who went missing from the hospital. Early next year, Murphy was set to begin shooting for the romantic comedy, Shrinking Charlotte. The director hopes to recast her role.
