Brittany Murphy's Husband Suing Warner Brothers
Brittany Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack, is convinced that Warner Brothers is responsible for the death of his wife, Us Magazine reported.
Monjack is going as far as to sue the major studio for wrongful death.
“I am tough. I litigate when somebody does something wrong to me. That's one of the reasons I make enemies,” Monjack remarked about his plans to sue, to the Daily Beast’s Gerald Posner.
Warner Brothers fired the actress who was supposed to participate in the sequel to Happy Feet, reprising her role, just two weeks before her death.
Monjack said that after Murphy was fired she was “devastated.” “They killed her,” Monjack told the Daily Beast's Gerald Posner.
“It's a cruel town . . . you're disposable as an actress or actor,” Us Magazine reported Monjack said.
Murphy died on December 20 at the age of 32. The cause of death has no yet been released.
