Brittany Murphy's mother to write tell-all book

The mother of late actress Brittany Murphy has announced she will be making her daughter’s life known to the public in a book she is writing in the actress’s memory.

“This book will be my way of celebrating and honoring her extraordinary life and career," Sharon Murphy told E! News. "Brittany was a kind, loving person who enjoyed each day, she was my life."

Murphy also told the entertainment news outlet that the upcoming book will be an “accurate account” of her daughter’s life and will tell all about the actress's career and personal life. A portion of the book proceeds will also be going to charity.

Murphy died in December 2009 after she went into cardiac arrest resulting from a bout with pneumonia. Her husband, Simon Monjack, was found dead five months later in the couple’s home.
