Broadcaster Drops Moore's Anti-republican Show

Moore accuses In Demand of succumbing to pressure from top Republican people.

Plans for In Demand cable to broadcast filmmaker Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 and interviews with politically active celebrities on pre-election day have been cancelled.

Following the cancellation, Moore has threatened to sue the cable company over its decision to scratch the three-hour screening he put together, which was set to air on the eve of the election.

In Demand contends they cancelled the event because of "legitimate business and legal concerns," while Moore claims the decision to pull his documentary, which is obviously critical of President Bush, is due to response from "top Republican people."

"Apparently people have put pressure on them, and they've broken a contract," Moore said.

In Demand is based in New York and owned by the Time Warner, Cox and Comcast cable companies.

In the mean time, Fahrenheit 9/11 is out on home video and available to rent at your local video rental store.
