Brolin, Wright and Five Others Arrested in Bar Brawl

The two stars of the upcoming film, "W.," and five crew members were arrested Saturday in Shreveport.

Josh Brolin, Jeffrey Wright and several crew members involved with the filming of W., were arrested Saturday morning, according to the Associated Press.

The two actors and five crew members engaged in a bar fight in Shreveport, La., at the Stray Cat bar. Shreveport police received a call about a rowdy patron, lighting technician, Eric Felland. When Brolin, Wright and the other crew members interfered with the officers, they were also arrested, reports Monsters and Critics. The arrest was made just after 2 a.m.

Felland was charged with resisting arrest and public intoxication while the others were charged with interfering with an arrest. Brolin and Wright were booked and posted cash bonds of $334 each to be released, reports the Times of Shreveport. Felland posted over $700.

Brolin and the others were in the midst of filming W., a film about President George W. Bush. The Oliver Stone film began production in May. President Bush will be played by Brolin, and Wright will play Colin Powell, the former Secretary of State.

The film will portray the life and presidency of Bush. Director Oliver Stone claims it will be "a fair, true portrait of the man." W. is the third of Stone's presidential films, the previous being Nixon and JFK.
