Brooke Hogan is lending her voice to the voiceless by posing nude for an animal rights campaign sponsored by artist Jordan Michael Zuniga.
Hogan’s photograph is part of a series by Zuniga called “Women in Cages” in which 80 percent of the proceeds from the exhibition goes straight to PETA.
“Brooke was into the idea right away,” Zuniga revealed to People. “This was something that really touched her.”
When Hogan’s portrait was revealed on Thursday, she was able to express her love of animals and how thankful she is for being apart of something so important.
“I’ve always had a love for animals, and I’ve seen abuse firsthand. It ignited my passion for saving them even more,” Hogan told the Miami New Times. “The worst part is that they are voiceless in our world.”
Zuniga shared how cooperative Hogan was throughout the photo shoot and how she knew that it wasn’t going to be a glamorous shot.
“She said, ‘This cage is really small, it’s really uncomfortable,'” Zuniga said. “To put beautiful women in those cages? Well they got a taste of what it was like to be crammed inside a cage.”
