Brooke Shields Get What She Wants
It looks like the National Enquirer was putting in some dirty work after allegedly checking the mother of Brooke Shields out of a New Jersey nursing home, but they have reached a settlement with Shields about what took place.
According to reports, it was a reporter and a photographer who took the elderly woman out of her nursing home and they were supposed to write a story on her and her illness. Shields's 75-year-old mother has dementia.
"Two weeks ago, Brooke Shields was forced to make a public disclosure about her mother, Teri Shields's health, when we learned that Mrs. Shields had been taken out of a care facility by a reporter and photographer working for the National Enquirer and I was told that the National Enquirer was going to print information about her condition and whereabouts," Shields's attorney, Gerald B. Lefcourt told People.com.
One understands wanting to get a good story, but this is taking it too far. Now National Enquirer have to apologize to Brook Shields and her family. Was it really worth it?
