Brown Gets Continuance Until April
A little less than a month after the beating that has been plastered all over the media, Chris Brown showed up in court with his lawyer, Mark Geragos, yesterday. Brown and his lawyer asked for a continuance until April 6.
Rihanna did not appear in court yesterday, but her lawyer, Donald Etra, was there and spoke with Brown. Rihanna did not want a "stay away" order to be placed on Brown, perhaps because it seems that she has forgiven Brown after reportedly being seen with him this week, by People magazine, before the court date.
Brown was ordered by the judge not to "annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone" until his appearance on April 6. Rihanna's attorney told MTV News, "If subpoenaed, she will testify."
