Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Reunited
The Civic Center in Harford, Connecticut, marked the first of the concert sites that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will visit on their four month tour in support of "Magic," the first album they have recorded together in five years. The tour will take them to 16 North American cities and a further 13 in Europe. Dates were announced at the end of August for the tour, and it was soon made clear that most shows would sell out almost the instant they went on sale. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer began the tour with the first tune on the album. In total eight songs were played from the new album, which was released on Tuesday.
For die hard fans, he played some of his rock-and-roll oldies including, "The Promised Land," "Darkness on the Edge of Town," and "Born to Run." Altogether, Springsteen and his band mates played 23 songs.
