Bruce Springsteen Gets Political
With the presidential election race coming to a close, musicians such as Bruce Springsteen rally for Barack Obama.
"The Boss" was already on stage when Obama's motorcade pulled up to the Cleveland Mall. Springsteen, a long time Democratic supporter, gave Obama a ringing endorsement between songs.
According to Rolling Stone Magazine, in the battleground of Ohio, Springsteen appeared, saying, "I don't know about you, but I want my country back, I want my dream back, I want my America back! Now is the time to stand with Barack Obama and Joe Biden, roll up our sleeves, and come."
While speaking about his tax plan and giving more money to the middle class, Obama said, "If you've got a little money in your pocket, that means the products and services that businesses give. That that means you can buy, you can on iTunes and get the latest Bruce Springsteen iTunes."
Endorsements come and favors go. What can I say?
