Buffalo Bills Running Back Sued Over Hit-and-Run Incident
Marshawn Lynch is being sued over the 2008 hit and run incident, reported TMZ.
The Buffalo Bills running back is being sued by Kimberly Shpeley, the woman he ran over in 2008, who began State Supreme Court negligence against him.
Shpeley is seeking an undisclosed amount for damages and injuries suffered.
The Ontario woman said she has spent a considerable amount of money on medical bills for permanent, painful and severe injuries received from the incident.
In the lawsuit Shpeley claims Lynch was drunk at the time when Lynch hit her with his Porshe Cayenne in Buffalo at 3:30 a.m. on May 31.
Lynch’s attorney however told reporters the claim is wrong.
Lynch had pleaded guilty in 2008 to traffic violation and was fined $100 for driving away without helping Shpeley.
Earlier this year Lynch was suspended by the National Football League during the first three games of the season for a marijuana arrest in California.
