Bullet Misses Paparazzi By Inches At Bundchen's And Brady's Wedding
The wedding of supermodel Gisele Bundchen and Patriots' Quarterback Tom Brady in Costa Rica last night was a happy, relaxing occasion, according to People Magazine. This is the couple's second time saying "I do" since their Santa Monica nuptials on Feb. 28.While the newlyweds were all snuggled up underneath a tent on Bundchen's beachfront estate, security were busy elsewhere with the paparazzi, which were shot at after leaving the scene. Two photographers from the INF photo agency, Yuri Cortez and Rolando Aviles, were hiding behind bushes taking snapshots of the celebration. Guards caught them and asked Cortez and Aviles to hand over the pictures they just took. The two men refused, as reported by USAToday. In an attempt to escape, the two men ran to a jeep, started it and before they could drive off, "a live round pierced the back windshield of the Suzuki jeep, and hit the front windshield directly between the two men's heads," said a spokesperson from INF.
Fortunately, neither man was injured. "I couldn't believe it when I realized what they had done," said Cortez. "I could have lost my life for the sake of some pictures that Gisele didn't want published. Are they insane?" Boston.com's picture of the jeep shows a huge hole in the back window from where the bullet entered, surrounded by near-shattering glass.
According to the Boston Herald, it is uncertain whether Brady, Bundchen and their 25 guests, were aware of the incident.
