Bullock's Newest Name: Mrs. Congeniality
Sandra Bullock, the girl-next-door personality who's starred in hit films like "Speed," "Miss Congeniality" and most recently "Crash" was wed to bad boy personality Jesse James this Saturday. The wedding was held at a ranch in Folded Hills located in the Santa Ynez Valley. Amidst the sprawling wine hills of California, the couple said their "I do's" against a sunset backdrop which was also said to have had a hoedown inspired theme.
Guests were reportedly bus shuttled from their Santa Barbara resorts to the ranch lying 45 minutes away. Several hundred people were in attendance with a guest list that included William Shatner, Jamie Lee Curtis, Regina King, James Hetfield.
Many in Hollywood originally were surprised when the two connected in 2003. Since then, they were known to keep their relationship rather low-key, and they have been dating for about a year.
This will be the first marriage for Bullock. She was once engaged to actor Tate Donovan in 1994; she turns 41 later this week. James, who's been married twice before, was most recently married to adult-film star Janine Lindemulder. He has two children by his first marriage, Chandler and Jesse James Jr., and one by his second, Sunny James.
James, who's previous career had him bodyguard the likes of Madonna, Slayer, Nirvana, and Metallica, now spends his days working on some big bikes. James is the founder of West Coast Choppers, manufacturer of custom built motorcycles. His TV show centered around the production of these pimped out rides is Monster Garage. James has said he keeps most of the bikes at the Long Beach, California garage where they're built. The show airs on the Discovery Channel at 9pm ET/PT.
