Caldwell Says Manning is Playing at a "different level."
The Indianapolis Star reports Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is playing at a "different level" says Colts coach Jim Caldwell. The star quarterback has thrown for 300 yards in five straight games, including Sunday night's 31-9 victory over the Tennessee Titans heading into the bye week.
According to the Canadian Press, not all is perfect with the star quarterback. Manning is suffering from a left knee injury sustained in Sunday night's game against the Titans. He says he was hurt on a play in the second quarter when Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch hit him in the knee, drawing a 15-yard penalty.
Rotoworld.com states the knee is not seriously injured and is just sore. Fantasy owners can rest easy knowing their quarterback is okay.
