California Gov. Schwarzenegger Says "All's Ok" After Jet Trouble

Gov. Schwarzenegger tweeted on his Twitter page that he's fine, following an emergency landing after smoke was discovered emanating from the aircraft's cockpit.

A little adventure just now when my plane made an emergency landing, tweeted California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on his twitter page, about his chartered jet, which had smoke coming from the cockpit.

But to reassure the public about the status of the safety scare, Schwarzenegger said, "All's ok, though," according to the Insider. The Hollywood icon also uploaded a photo of the red, white and blue aircraft resting on the runway on his Twitter. The governor was reportedly in mid-air and a few minutes from arriving at his next stop in Santa Monica, when it skidded to a halt at Van Nuys Airport for inspection, according to CNN.

"Upon landing the Governor exited the jet and traveled to his house," said Schwarzenegger's spokesperson Aaron McLear. "The crew did an outstanding job and everyone aboard landed safely and unharmed."

There were no indications of a fire, the governor's office said, as stated by ndtv.com.
