Camp Rock 2 in the Works

Disney hit spawns a sequel

The Disney Channel's original movie "Camp Rock" was one of the biggest hits of last summer. The film starred then-newcomer Demi Lovato, catapulting her into the spotlight, and the Jonas Brothers. MTV.com reports that the four of them will be filming the sequel, "Camp Rock 2" after their summer tour for the new album, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times."

The rumor about this movie is that the Jonas's little brother Frankie (the Bonus Jonas) will be joining the cast. It turns out that not even the other Jonas boys know the answer. Joe said, "Frankie, being in the movie? There's talks of that. I don't know. He might just do his own movie."

Lovato is excited about filming with the brothers again. "They're, like, some of my closest friends," she said. "…We were just thinking it's going to be so much fun."

There's no current update on when the new movie will be coming out.
