Carnie Wilson: 'I Need Help'
Surgery isn’t a weight-loss cure-all. Just ask Carnie Wilson.
The former Wilson Phillips’ singer confides to People magazine that she’s fallen off the wagon.
“I need help,” Wilson tells the mag.
Before her infamous gastric bypass surgery, Wilson weighed more then 300 lbs. Today, after yo-yoing back and forth on the scale – she had lost 150 lbs at one point – Wilson weighs in at 212lbs., People reports.
Wilson previously appeared on VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club to help kick her weight battle to the curb.
Wilson said having two daughters – Lola, 4, and Luciana, born last year – threw a kink into her weight-loss plans.
Wilson hit bottom when she weighed herself on national television during a segment of The Dr. Oz Show. Afterward, Dr. Oz called Wilson “morbidly obese and pre-diabetic.”
Wilson is following a weight-loss program the doctor created for her and she says her goal is to weight a healthy 160 lbs.
