Monday in Las Vegas, the fan-voted American Country Awards were handed out, with Jason Aldean taking home the most awards with six. Carrie Underwood also had a big night, winning three awards.

Aldean won the Artist of the Year award and the Record of the Year for My Kinda Party, reports The Associated Press. His 2010 album has continued to be the gift that keeps giving for Aldean, spawning four hit singles and a successful arena tour. “This is getting a little ridiculous now...I don’t know what else to say. It’s been a crazy year,” Aldean said when he picked up his second award.

Aldean’s other wins came in the Song of the Year, Vocal Collaboration category for “Don’t Wanna Stay” with Kelly Clarkson, Touring Artist of the Year and Music Video, Duo, Group or Collaboration for “Don’t Wanna Stay,” according to E! Online.

The Press Association reports that Underwood’s night was not as big as last year’s, where she won six at the inaugural event, but her fans still came out in droves to support her. She won female Single of the y=Year for “Mama’s Song.” The track also won her the Female Music Video award. Her third award came for Female Artist of the Year.

Other big winners include Alabama, which won the Greatest Hits award, and Toby Kieth, who was named Artist of the Decade. Male Artist of the year went to Brad Paisley, while Group of the year went to Lady Antebellum. Scotty McCreery won New Artist and Chris Young won Breakthrough Artist.

The ceremony was broadcast on Fox and was hosted by Glee’s Kristin Chenoweth and Trace Adkins.
