American Idol alum, Carrie Underwood, is dishing about married life with her hockey player husband, Mike Fisher.
Underwood said despite warnings, the first year of married life has been great.
"Everyone says the first month is the hardest, or the fourth month or the eighth month," she told People. "We're just enjoying it."
However, she does admit that she’s been extremely busy with work and “You never really get to stop and smell the roses and really enjoy just being a person."
Furthermore, Underwood and Fisher are enjoying being newlyweds, but aren’t ready to be parents just yet.
According to Monsters and Critics, the singer has said that the couple's schedules are just too busy to embark on that chapter of their lives.
"I'm good on the kid front right now. Mike and I are both so busy," she explained. "We want to do what's best for us and our future children. Anytime within the next few years would just be bad."
