Carrie Underwood Gives Back!

While amidst a major tour, Carrie Underwood still tries to make time to watch American Idol. According to Foxnews.com, Underwood, who made an appearance at the "Idol Gives Back" event, has become the most successful artist to win the talent competition thus far. Although the singer has her favorites - which she will not reveal - she views Idol as a second home filled with old friends.

As for Simon Cowell, Underwood publicly defends the divo who contributed to her success. Underwood stated to Foxnews.com that, "His [Simon Cowell's] role, I guess, is to be the 'bad guy,' so I get so, so angry when I see contestants up there arguing with him. Just take it - get up there and take it like a man."

According to Carrie, anytime Idol wants her to do anything for them, she'll be there. As Carrie said it best, she is still a small town girl despite her fame. "I really don't buy anything expensive or do anything to look after my skin. It's actually really bad. I just use soap and water. That's it."
