The Case of Lohan's Lost Luxuries

Actress Lindsay Lohan, 23, may be taken to court for $2 million if she cannot return the jewels which were, according to her, stolen from her house. The young actresses' house was recently broken into and several million dollars worth of jewelry was taken.

According to XIV Karats, the jewels were on loan to Lohan and they want them back. Lohan claims that the jewels in question were taken from her safe. Despite the fact that Lohan has now been caught up in two different jewel thievery scandals, police have denied any involvement in the theft on the part of the actress.

The actress and XIV Karats are in talks and working towards a resolution, but a source said, "The jewels were in Lindsay's care . . . if something is not resolved soon there will be legal action taken."
