CBS, Disney Consider Apple TV
Media conglomerates CBS and Disney may join Apple's venture of offering TV subscription via the internet, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Apple's planned service would offer television shows from major networks to subscribers at a monthly fee and would drastically change the television world familiar to viewers.
Apple is hoping to introduce the subscription service in 2010 pending licensing deals. Apple’s TV addition is a way for the company to update their iTunes store which already sells music, games and videos.
