New Celebrity Reality Show "Gone Country"

John Rich, of country music's Big & Rich, is looking to bring a little country to reality television.

The country artist will host a new celebrity reality show called "Gone Country." The Entertainment Weekly reports that the new show, to be aired on CMT, will feature a cast of seven artists vying for the chance to write, perform and record a country song. The winner's song will be produced by Rich, and broadcast on country radio.

Carnie Wilson, Maureen McCormick, Julio Iglesias Jr., Dee Snider, Diana DeGarmo, Sisqo and Bobby Brown, will all be part of the cast featured. They will also share domestic quarters, near Nashville, at what is called the "Plowboy Mansion."

Look for "Gone Country" to hit the airwaves January 25, 2008. The program will air Friday nights at 8 p.m.
