Several celebrities have been affected by the flooding in Tennessee, Kentucky and Mississippi. A telethon has been organized to raise money for the flood victims. The telethon, called Working 4 You: Flood Relief With Vince Gill & Friends, will air on May 6 at 7 pm on WSMV-TV Channel 4. Naomi Judd, Alison Krauss, Darius Rucker, Phil Vassar, and Bo Bice will make appearances at the fundraising event.

All Access Music Group reports that all proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army, the Red Cross and the Second Harvest Food Bank to assist relief efforts in Tennessee.

Among others, Country singer Kenny Chesney’s home has been badly damaged by the recent flood in Tennessee. According to E! News, flood waters ruined his 40 acre waterfront property.

“Sending Anderson Cooper footage of my house under water for tonight…TN is a mess. You need to see it,” Chesney wrote on Twitter.

"Omg, I've been in tears for the last hour. I love you Nashville!," LeAnn Rimes wrote on Twitter.

The thunderstorms and flooding have left at least 24 people dead.
