Happy birthday to Josh Duhamel and Travis Barker!
Josh Duhamel, 39
The Hollywood hunk may be heading to 40, but he's got the bod of someone in his 20s. And the actor has come a very long way since his small town, North Dakota days. The Transformers star got his first taste of fame with a recurring role on All My Children. While he ended his soap drama career in 2002, he came back to the show that made him a household name this year to guest star on a couple episodes. And though he's starred in several feature films over the past ten years, including Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, Life As We Know It and the Transformers series, would you have ever guessed that he went to college with intentions of becoming a dentist? When Duhamel attended Minot State University, he majored in biology and was so motivated that he decided to re-take organic chemistry and physics to boost his GPA. How hot is that? But alas, Fergie's husband accidentally caught the acting bug after he was scouted by a modeling agency. He can next be seen on the big screen in celeb-packed New Year's Eve December 9.
Travis Barker, 36
The former Blink 182 drummer has had his fair share of dramatic moments over the years. In 2008, Barker almost lost his life in a plane crash that killed four passengers and critically injured friend DJ AM. Seven months earlier in February, he and beauty queen Shannon Moakler ended their four year marriage. The ex-couple have two children together and also starred in their own MTV reality series called Meet the Barkers from 2005 to 2006. Aside from playing the drums, Barker is also a pretty successful businessman. He owns clothing company Stars and Stripes and belt buckle company Famous Stars and Straps. Barker also collaborated with DC Shoes for a footwear line, the Alias Remix, and opened a Wahoo's Fish Taco in Norco, Calif. And on top of all that, he runs his own record label called La Salle Records.
