Summer smoldering takes over Los Angeles

This past Wednesday night at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, celebs and athletes alike joined forces on the red carpet for the 2011 ESPY Awards. The summer sun wasn't the only thing heating up.

'Smoldering summer color' was definitely the way to describe the 2011 ESPY Awards. It was like the sun was slowly sizzling up the red carpet.

Celebs such as Hank Baskett, Jason Bateman, and Ryan Reynolds all showed off in dark grays and blacks, while women such as Maria Sharapova and Brooklyn Decker flaunted in navy and dark red. And of course, most of the women's styles were short.

Other attendees to the ESPY Awards were Friends With Benefits star Justin Timberlake, and love birds Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. Big winners of the night were Lindsey Vonn for Best Female Athlete, and Dirk Nowitzki for Best Male Athlete.
