Celebrity marriages declining?

A whopping 73% of TheCelebrityCafe.com readers felt that celebrities have more trouble keeping their marriage vows on solid ground. Twelve percent said no, 9% said they didn't know and 6% thought, yeah, maybe celebrities do have a harder time keeping their marriage vows.

But why? Celebrities are real people, who suffer marital problems like the rest of us, and sometimes, I think, we expect too much of celebrity marriages. We've become familiar and comfortable, I think, with the high profile marriages of such famous couples as Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman; John Stamos and Rebecca-Roman Stamos; Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt; and our most recent; Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards marriage gone sour. When a separation or divorce is announced, celebrity marriages begin to appear less fairy-tale like and more reality based.

But don't let these likable and talented celebrities' marital misadventures disenchant you. Love can come around again and isn't that always worth rooting for?
