Chad Ochocinco to Get Reality Show

First it was Terrell Owens, now it’s Chad Ochocinco. VH1 is set to cast the NFL Pro Bowler in his own reality dating show after he finishes up Dancing with the Stars.

The tentative name for the series is The Tournament, which will begin in July 2010. It will follow the 32-year-old NFL player over ten weeks as he looks for that special someone. According to VH1, the first episode will feature Chad traveling around the country wooing a countless number of women who want to date him. It will eventually get down to 16 women, and then the tournament begins.

The show is all but a certainty--unless he gets things going with his longtime crush, actress Sofia Vergara. He told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson, “I’m single. I’ve struggled with the dating life. I haven’t been able to find the right now, so with the help of a show, as long as it’s classy… I would like it… unless you can get Sofia Vergara to date me.”

For now, the former Chad Johnson is focusing on DWTS which hits airwaves on March 22.
