Chad Ochocinco: Looking for Love

Looks like NFL player Chad Ochocinco will not only be waltzing with other celebrities this summer, but he will also be looking for a lady companion.

Ochocinco, 32, recently signed an agreement with VH1 for 10 one-hour episodes for his new dating show, The Tournament. In this chance to find love, the father of four will test the waters with 16 women who will take part in a "tournament-style dating competition." To complement the competition, the winners of the double dates will receive a "game ball," and the champion will receive a ring.

Ochocinco spoke about his reasons for doing the show. "I’m single. I’ve struggled with the dating life," he stated.

Even though Ochocinco is open to the concept of a reality dating experience, he has a few rules. "As long as it’s classy . . . it has to be classy because there’s a way to do a show like this and be classy . . . and very tasteful and I would like it . . . unless you can get Sofia Vergara to date me."

Ochocinco admitted he has a crush on Modern Family actress Vergara. "Girl, Sofia . . . Call me! Feel free at any time. Thank you," he joked.

However, according to his Dancing with the Stars partner, Cheryl Burke, Vergara is not the only one who has caught Ochocinco's eye. Burke claims that Ochocinco has a little crush on one of his fellow competitors, Kate Gosselin. "Kate, she’s beautiful to me," he said.

All in all, The Tournament is set to premiere in July 2010. In the meantime, you can watch the football player show off his moves on Dancing with the Stars, March 22, on ABC.
