Chandra Wilson Gives Back
Actress Chandra Wilson gives scholarships to alma mater.
Actress Chandra Wilson, of ABC's Grey's Anatomy, has not forgotten her educational roots.
The Houston Chronicle reports that the actress recently payed a visit to her alma mater, Houstons's Highschool for the Performing and Visual Arts, and gifted the school with two college scholarships in the amount of $2000.00 each.
Wilson, who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey on Grey's Anatomy, won a SAG award for her peformance on the show in 2007. For the same, she was also awarded at the 2008 NAACP Image Awards, on February 15.
The Grey's Anatomy cast is currently filming the fourth season of the program.
