Changes for Paramount Pictures

Paramount Pictues lets go of top executives.

It's no surprise that Hollywood is feeling the affects from the economy. Paramount Pictures has cut their top production executive, reports Reuters. After only 18 months on the job, Paramount Film Group President John Lesher has been replaced. DreamWorks Production Chief Adam Goodman will fill his position.

According to Reuters, Production President Brad Weston has also been let go. Paramount Pictures did not give a reason for the recent changes in the company when the announcement was made.

Eddie Murphy's latest movie, "Imagine That," reportedly cost $55 million to make and so far at the box office has only made a disappointing $9.2 million. Paramount most likely will have better luck next week when the movie, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," is released.
