Celebrities always say that shooting love scenes is one of the most awkward things they will ever have to do in their careers. In the new movie The Vow, Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams play a couple very much in love, before an accident causes Adams' character to lose her memory.

While the two stars were shooting a scene together in which McAdams sees her husband naked, Tatum, a self-proclaimed jokester, decided to play a prank on his co-star. According to People Magazine, although the film was a serious romantic story, it was all games around the set.

"Channing got the props department to make a prosthetic, um, member," McAdams told Stella Magazine. "Literally a fake penis. I didn't know what to do — I thought, 'Is that the real deal?' It was very realistic. It was ridiculous, the scale of it!"

Tatum went to the props department ahead of time and planned the prank to "terrify Rachel with." In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Tatum said that he is not shy about being naked and pulled the prank to get a genuine reaction out of his co-star during a scene where McAdam's is surprised to see her husband naked when she walks in the room.

"I did have a stunt pee pee that I had made for her for reaction," Tatum said. "It was a little prank that I pulled on her. It's in the movie — her reaction was spot on. I didn't have a lot of faith in her reaction because it was cold that day, and I didn't want her to be laughing and pointing. I wanted her to be shocked."
