Charlie Sheen Returns to Aspen for Court Date

Charlie Sheen is still dealing with the repercussions of Christmas. He has returned to Aspen, Colorado for his court date Monday afternoon at 2:15pm Aspen time.

Sheen’s publicist Stan Rosenfield said, “We have been told that he’ll be there under 5 minutes, and that is what we anticipate.” The charges include menacing, criminal mischief, and third degree assault.

TMZ states that Sheen is getting ready to plead no contest to a misdemeanor in exchange for the felony menacing charge being dropped. He would also be willing to go to anger management classes as part of any deal made. However, TMZ also states that prosecutors aren’t looking to make a deal.

RadarOnline on the other hand, says Sheen will defend himself by going after one of the arresting officer’s credibility. That same officer has already been fired due to supposed violations of departmental policies that aren’t connected to the Sheen case.

Rosenfield wouldn’t comment directly on the case or Sheen’s defense plan either way.

Sheen faces to serve up to five years in prison if convicted.
