Charlie Sheen Returns to 'Two and a Half Men'

Sheen returns from rehab to film.

On March 16, Charlie Sheen returned to work on Two and a Half Men after spending time in rehab, which he entered on February 23.

Sheen, 44, makes about $900,000 per episode of Two and a Half Men, and is the highest paid star on television. The show brings in 14.96 million viewers, making it television's most watched comedy.

The actor returned to work on the CBS television hit in Burbank, California. A day earlier, he had pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges after a Christmas day fight with his wife was made public. Sheen's three-day trial is reported to begin July 21.

While the show is usually filmed in front of a live studio audience, this Friday the show will be taking place on a closed set. Sheen will attend rehab meetings at night after work.

This is the second time the set has been closed. After Jon Cryer, Sheen's co-star, was threatened by his ex-wife, security was heightened.

The next episode of Two and a Half Men will air March 22 on CBS.
