Charlize Theron Splits With Boyfriend

In both shocking and sad Splitsville news, Academy Award winning actress Charlize Theron and her boyfriend Stuart Townsend, also an actor, have reported called it quits.

The two were together for nine years, after meeting on the set of the film Trapped in 2002.

Reportedly, the South African beauty broke up with her man after realizing that that “they had become more like brother and sister than lovers.”

"She truly loved Stuart but the relationship ran its course," a close friend revealed. "He is heartbroken but she is insisting it is all over."

Townsend has allegedly moved out of their Hollywood Hills home, which Theron continues to reside there. It has been reported that he will now live in their Malibu beach house until further notice.

The report follows a stream of rumors about their relationship after Theron was recently spotted out in public without the beloved antique ring she wore to show her commitment to Townsend.
They two are sorting out their financial affairs at the moment, as they have been together for so long that many of their finances are intertwined.

In a recent interview Townsend admitted he considered the Oscar-winner his wife, even though they never legally married. He said, "We consider ourselves husband and wife. We love each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together.
