Cher and Oprah Reveal Affection For Tom Cruise

Cher told Oprah about a date she had with Cruise in mid-80s.

Did you know that Tom Cruise once went on a date with Cher back in the 80s? Cher revealed this on an Oprah Winfrey episode taped in Las Vegas that has yet to air. According to NJ.com, Cher revealed she was "so crazy" about Tom Cruise when they went on a long date almost 20 years ago.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that the singer fell "madly in love" with the Risky Business actor, who was only 23 at the time. Cher was 39, sixteen years his senior. She revealed that Cruise was "shy," and "felt like such a boob in school and nobody talked to him."

Oprah Winfrey apparently jumped on the I-love-Tom-Cruise bandwagon. She told her audience that she did an interview with Tom Cruise and he took her on a snowmobile ride. NJ.com reports that she said she knew "what happened" to Cruise's beau Katie Holmes.

"There's something about the guy's butt," Oprah said.
