Cher Will Perform in Las Vegas

Cher is set to perform a three year stint at the Las Vegas Colosseum.

According to the Associated Press, Cher is set to perform 200 shows during three years at Caesars Palace in fabulous Las Vegas. The singer's last tour, "Farewell," consisted of three years of concerts and ended two and one-half years ago. Cher has won Oscars, Emmys and Grammys throughout her successful career. "Cher at the Colosseum" will debut May 6.

The show will include 18 dancers, aerialists, as well as new costumes designed by Bob Mackie, Cher's longtime designer. Choreography is set to be directed by Doriana Sanchez, who helped choreograph the "Believe" and "Farewell" tours. But Cher fans should not expect the classic Cher show.

The 61-year-old singer reported that the show will feature state-of-the-art technology that she has never seen before. Along with the show, Cher is also planning to release an all new studio album sometime in the near future. Cher has expressed her excitement and gratitude to be able to continue her music career.
